: Site updates

April 29 2004

Exactly one week (with a 1-month margin of error...) after I made the "within the week" promise for the Clipsal 500 photo galleries, I deliver. A reasonable variety of photos from the event can be found in the newest section to the Pants Network site, labelled Pixels.

Why "Pixels"?
Primarily to be ambiguous and confusing, but also because of the amount of different things that might end up there eventually. There could be sections representing photo galleries, random artwork stuff I've been working on, tutorials for graphic-related things, etc...

So have a look if you're interested, I'll be uploading more stuff there as soon as I finish the damn About page ("What/Who Is Pants?"). If you have any questions about the site or it's author that you'd like answered, send them in and I'll post 'em up on the About page when it's ready.

And although you don't even know who I am, I hope you had a happy birthday today Patty... :)

: Right on schedule

April 16 2004

Flipping through this month's edition of Rolling Stone Magazine (just looking at all the pretty pictures), I was lucky to spot a small bit of news on one of my favourite artists, Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.

Reznor is a notoriously patient perfectionist when it comes to his craft, having released only one proper studio album every five years. Following the sequence (1989, 1994, 1999), I hoped that 2004 would be the year, and this little article confirms my hopes. C'mon Trent - less corn starch and more albums please...

Here is the snippet, reproduced without permission of course...:
